Position: 6 Month Contract
Our client, who is a large Rail company, is looking for a Project Engineer to manage design and construction activities for allocated projects. They will implement systems and procedures to maintain a cost effective, high quality, safe and environmentally responsible approach to design, construction, commissioning and other technical activities on relevant projects.
Key responsibilities:
* Monitor design and specialist consultants and contractors.
* Provide project management advice in respect of all construction activities.
* Manage all engineering activities so that the schemes meet programme managements.
* Maintain the use of relevant techniques and procedures.
Requirements:
* Successful relevant experienced in engineering disciplines, ideally with construction.
* Technical qualifications to HNC/HND or equivalent GNVQ in relevant engineering discipline.
* Demonstratable experience of effective team working.
* CDM, risk assessment, engineering management competency.
