Commercial Manager –Electrical

Up to £60,000 + Car / Allowance

TS Recruitment are actively working with an Electrical Contractor based in York who are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager.
Benefits
* Basic salary circa £50-60,000 per annum
* Company car or allowance
* Bonus scheme
* 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
* 3% employer and 5% employee pension contributions
Job Role & Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the Managing Director to carry out all commercial duties.
* Carry out Estimates and submit tenders for electrical refurb projects in the Yorkshire region.
* Attend client meetings.
* Work closely with the Contracts Managers regarding valuations and submit payment applications.
* Ensure projects are complete within budget and profitable.
* Attend Senior Management meetings and provide forecasts and cost value reports.
* Build relationships with main contractors and clients.
* Even split between Estimating and Quantity Surveying
Company Details
* £5 million turnover business
* Specialist Electrical contractor
* Approved contractor on several frameworks
* Work on commercial refurb projects and maintenance work.
Knowledge/Experience:
* Commercial experience working as an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor.
* A desire to grow a business and grow a team in time.
* Quantity Surveying degree preferred but not essential.
* Good IT skills including Microsoft excel.
* Full UK driving license
