Operations Manager . 

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 + Car allowance + 10% Annual Bonus  

Orion is partnered with a well-established Electrical Manufacturing company located in Sheffield . They are recruiting for a highly experienced and professional Operations Manager with a strong electrical knowledge and background.  

The focus of this Operations Manager is to oversee & manage all aspects of projects, production and manufacturing.

Operations Manager Duties: 

To work alongside the Service Manager, oversee the projects, purchasing and production department. 

To manage all aspects of day-to-day operations. 

Responsible for ensuring the highest levels of professionalism and customer service. 

Manage a large multi-faceted engineering team. 

Liaise with senior figureheads on a daily basis 

Site improvement plans working to Kizan and Lean standards. 

Implementation of improvement and efficiency processes 

Manage key supplier relationships and the quality of purchased products and services 

Analyse production processes and introduce value engineering techniques to build product "right first time" 

Operations Manager Experience: 

Strong Management experience 

Change Management 

Manufacturing project management experience. 

Electrically biased – Must have an electrical qualification. 

Experience with communicating with senior figureheads – Senior stakeholder management. 

Work to Prince or Agile methodology 

Lean 6 sigma experience 

Proven improvement and efficiency project experience.  

Strong influencer with a range of stakeholders with the ability to communicate strategic plans and projects. 

Flexible and able to manage priorities, resolve problems, and escalate issues in a fast-paced environment.  

Operations Manager : 

HNC or ONC in Electrical Engineering 

Shifts: Monday – Friday – 37 hours per week
