If so, I have a great opportunity for a driven General Manager to join a rapidly growing Precision Engineering business that has an exciting journey to take over the next few years, one that will see exponential, global growth.

Responsibilities:

Integrate technology deeply into the fabric of the factory operations, leveraging the latest advancements to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with customers to understand their unique requirements and align them with the capabilities of our machining facility.
Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects, from concept to completion.
Implement strategic initiatives to optimise factory capacity utilisation, driving revenue growth and profitability.
Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of product quality and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business strategies that drive sustainable growth and market leadership.
The implementation and promotion of a continuous improvement culture throughout the business.
Working closely with the technology team to develop automated processes wherever practically possible to streamline business practicesRequirements:

Experience at a similar level, however would consider someone who is ready for their next step and has the understanding of how to run a manufacturing site.
Experience in a low volume, high complexity manufacturing environment is essential, ideally 'Make to Order'.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Chartered Engineer status is advantageous.
Someone with commercial awareness, who understands how to estimate the cost of operational delivery.
Experience of implementing and promoting a continuous improvement culture.
Be able to demonstrate what good leadership looks like.
Financially astute, can budget, forecast and manage against financial measures, Full P&L would be beneficial.
Excellent communication skills and able to engage with internal and external stake holders.
