In this role, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our projects from start to finish, by preparing accurate cost estimates and proposals.
Responsibilities-
• Conduct thorough site surveys and analyze project specifications.
• Identify and manage potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labour, and subcontractors.
• Negotiate with subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare tenders, material take-offs, and final project costs.
• Collaborate with internal teams (project delivery, procurement) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors).
• Utilise strong organisational and communication skills to keep everyone informed.
Skills required-
• Experience in preparing cost estimates for construction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction estimating software (a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a dedication to exceeding client expectations.
