Sewell Wallis are delighted to be partnering on an exclusive basis with a growing business in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller into their Head Office team.
Working as part of the senior management team and leading a small Finance function, this is an extremely varied role where your responsibilities will include:-
Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
Producing monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Cash flow forecasting
Overseeing the weekly and monthly payroll processes
Analysing financial performance
Presenting financial information to key stakeholders
Managing and reporting on foreign currency balances
Overseeing the preparation of VAT returns
Dealing with client contracts and tendersRequirements
Qualified Accountant, ideally CIMA / ACCA / ACA
Experience of working within an SME
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Confident communicator across all levels with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders
Strong IT skillsBenefits
