Internal Sales Manager

Full-time, permanent

£30-40k basic salary (depending on experience) + bonus & commission scheme

Are you a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for sales? We are looking for an Inside Sales Manager (ISM) to play a pivotal role in a dynamic sales team. As an ISM, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth through efficient lead qualification, cross-selling, upselling, and post-sales support.

This company have grown their turnover and diversified their portfolio significantly over recent years, and employ a multi-channel sales strategy to deliver their products into hospitals across the globe. They are embarking upon another phase of growth, and are looking to hire this brand new role into their hugely successful sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Qualification and Distribution:

Efficiently handle inbound leads, assess their potential, and qualify them based on predetermined criteria.
Collaborate with Business Development Managers to prioritise leads and ensure seamless hand-offs for further nurturing or closure.

Lead Management and Closure:

Independently manage and close smaller leads, utilising effective sales techniques for successful outcomes.
Collaborate with BDMs to provide support in closing larger leads when necessary.

Cross-Selling and Upselling:

Assist in developing and executing strategies for identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing customer base.
Collaborate with field sales to create tailored offers that address client needs and drive additional revenue.

Outbound Product Marketing Campaigns:

Help plan, execute, and manage outbound product marketing campaigns to generate interest and demand among potential clients.
Monitor campaign effectiveness, track key performance indicators, and optimise strategies based on data-driven insights.

Post-Sales Ethos and Client Support:

Cultivate strong relationships with clients post-sale, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their needs, concerns, and enquiries promptly and effectively.

Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of lead qualification, pipeline progression, and closed deals using their CRM software.
Generate regular reports to provide insights into lead conversion rates, campaign performance, and customer engagement.

What are they looking for?

Proven track record of success in a similar role, preferably in a B2B sales environment.
Strong understanding of sales processes, lead qualification, and lead distribution.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence at various levels.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify growth opportunities and overcome challenges.
Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools for lead tracking and reporting.
Experience in post-sales customer support and relationship management.

Desirable Qualifications:

Previous experience in managing outbound product marketing campaigns.
Familiarity with or experience of working within the healthcare industry.
