Job Title: Acoustics Estimator

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, Plus Benefits
The Company:
Penguin Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an air management company, with over 150 years' experience in their field. They are experts in controlling air temperature, removing pollutants, and limiting noise in all working environments. My client designs, manufactures, and installs equipment to mitigate air and noise problems across a wide range of sectors, from hospitals to hospitality.
The Role:
As an Acoustics Estimator, you will be delivering commercial and technical quotations to exciting projects around the UK. Your expertise will be required to select and apply the company's high quality products and services.
Role responsibilities include:
Recommending resources and equipment required to provide services, while meeting regulations.
Liaising with internal departments, ensuring all personnel have the relevant information for the project to succeed.
Consider and apply commercial and technical solutions to reduce internal cost and increase profit.
Exhibit a professional demeanour.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 5 years' experience as applications engineer and or estimator, ideally within power generation, acoustic plant room enclosure or tank containers.
A diploma from the Institute of Acoustics, is preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD or Inventor software.
Good teamwork skills.
An innovative approach to problem solving.
An understanding of commercial awareness within the HVAC market.
