Tutorial Learning Mentor – Barnsley College - Permanent - £26,298 to £30,375 per annum

Tutorial Learning Mentor

Permanent vacancy - 37 hours per week
£26,298 to £30,375 per annum
We are looking for a dynamic Tutorial Learning Mentor who will work hard to transform the lives of our young people and support them onto a positive future. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the pastoral needs of students and be learner focused. You will work with learners to deliver the Tutorial Scheme of Learning, this will include 1:1 and small group work to implement strategies to support building self-esteem, confidence, resilience and citizenship.
This post will see our new Tutorial Learning Mentor working in a team of 3 TLM’s and working closely with teaching staff and Course Leaders, embedding tutorial processes. You will support learners throughout their college journey, ensuring that they receive a high standard of advice and guidance. This role would suit an individual with experience of working with young people in an educational setting, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
In this role you will be based at our CUBE centre, working alongside a hands-on and skilled team, who consistently achieve outstanding results for our students.
