Electrician

Astute's Power team are recruiting for an Electrician to join a growing engineering company focused on power generation industrial solutions. They have been involved with building EFW plants across the UK and are growing at a rapid rate.

The strategically important Electrician role comes with a salary of between £38,530 - £42,416 (DOE).

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will:

Carrying out pre-planned maintenance work in accordance with the maintenance schedule
Interact with the Operations Team and assist with fault finding and testing
Contribute to the site overhauls, ensuring all plant equipment is maintained and repaired as required.
Ensure all maintenance work is properly recorded on the site CMMS
Other electrical duties as required

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

HNC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of power generation and industrial electrical systems
17th/18th edition would be beneficial
HV training/experience would be desirable but not essential

Personal skills

The Electrician role would suit someone who is:

Computer literate.
Self-motivated.
Team player
Excellent communication skills
