Responsibilities
* Renovation and routine maintenance of assembly equipment
* Carry out Planned preventative maintenance on automated production facilities.
* Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.
* Timely response to equipment stoppages
* Improvements to assembly equipment.
* Key performance indicators such as equipment.
* Carry out fault finding and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas;
-Robotics/PLC’s/Electrical Control Systems/Hydraulics/Pneumatics
Requirements / experience
* Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI’s (Human Machine Interface.
* Time served in Electro Technical
Proven problem solving skills
* Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
* Knowledge of MIG welding and Spot-Welding process
* Knowledge of robotic welding
* Reasonable level of mechanical aptitude including welding, fabrication, and mechanical fitting
* Experience within an automotive maintenance environment and knowledge of maintenance systems.
* Problem solving skills/experience.
* Highly organised and can effectively manage time and prioritise workload.
* Must be able to establish clear objectives and be result focused.
* Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, open to change and have a can-do approach.
* Self-motivated
* Team Orientated
* Must have MS Office and AutoCAD
Qualifications
* Electrical maintenance apprenticeship or time served – equivalent EAL/City and Guilds 236 L2/2330 L3
* 17th or 18th Edition
* Electrical HNC

The role is on 3 shifts and rotates as Mornings, Nights, Afternoon (gives a slightly longer weekend between finishing AM shift on the Friday and starting Nights on the following Monday.
