Job Title: Tire Fitter/Technician -HGV
Area: Wolverhampton
Pay: £15.00 p/h (depending on experience)
Temp to Perm
Working Patterns:
Monday to Friday
We are looking for a Tire Technician/Fitter to join our customer team to provide hands-on experience with all sorts of tires, large truck sizes right down through to light truck and car sizes.
Responsibilities of a Tire Fitter/Technician
Inspect tires on HGV before and after installation.
Perform tire rotations, balancing and other maintenance tasks.
Follow all safety protocols while working in the shop.
Repairing punctures.
Changing filters, lubricating parts, and performing other basic road safety checks.
Carrying out wheel alignment and tracking adjustments. This involves making sure the tires are fitted at exactly the correct angle, down to the nearest hundredth of a millimetre.
Performing basic data inputting, possibly on a tablet, or other hand-held device, computer.Requirements and skills for a Tire Fitter/Technician
Proven work experience as a Tire Fitter/ Technician for HGV
Some professional experience removing and installing tires preferred.
Team player.
Attention to detail to install tires properly.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
