Bookkeeper

RM Recruit are proud to be working with a dynamic not-for-profit organisation based in Warwick who are seeking a driven, well-articulated Bookkeeper to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Our client is able to offer a fully flexible, hybrid working arrangement with the office presence set at three times per week and two days working from home.

Reporting directly to the Group Accountant, this role will see you carry out all day-to-day bookkeeping within the accounting system including all aspects of purchase ledger, sales ledger, nominal ledgers, and cash books.

Duties of the role will include, but not be limited to:

* Posting purchase invoices and expenses

* Reconcile supplier statements

* Manage Aged Debtors & Creditors

* Process monthly bacs runs

* Post cash receipts and payments

* Prepayments, journals and accruals

* Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts

* Balance sheet reconciliations

* Produce quarterly VAT returns

* Support the team with audit queries

* Ensure timely corporation tax payments

* To assist the wider finance team as and when required

The ideal candidate will be part qualified or qualified by experience with prior exposure of SAGE 50. Candidates with experience in the third sector are of high interest to our client, although candidates from outside the sector will also be considered. You will possess strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail and the ability to manage workload effectively and meet strict deadlines.
