The School and Role

ABC Teachers are looking to appoint a committed and nurturing Teaching Assistant to work within a local SEND school on a small group and 1:1 basis.

You will be working with pupils of a range of ages, who have moderate learning difficulties and some additional needs such as speech and language difficulties.

The role will be starting as soon as possible and will be on a full time, ongoing basis.

The school has a very welcoming and positive atmosphere, with a staff team who do all they can to meet the needs of the children and create a supportive environment.

Requirements

The successful Teaching Assistant will;

Have experience working within an SEND setting with various needs.
Be adaptable and reliable.
Have a passion for helping children succeed
Have excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK

*All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
