My client is a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor based in Walsall, specialising in commercial, education, and local authority projects with values up to £15 million. Committed to delivering excellence and innovation, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview: As an Electrical Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing electrical aspects of projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the success of a reputable M&E contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all electrical aspects of projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

* Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they meet project objectives and deadlines.

* Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success.

* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

* Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.

* Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

* Liaise with clients to address any concerns or requests throughout the project lifecycle.

* Prepare and submit project reports, documentation, and presentations as required.

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a similar role within the M&E contracting industry.

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and construction methods.

* Experience working on commercial, education, and local authority projects.

* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Proven leadership and team management abilities.

* Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

* Degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.

* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.

* Valid UK driving license.
