About The Role
As part of the Senior Management Pre Opening Team you will be responsible for the set up and regulation of the home. You will ensure the correct practices are in place to open a welcoming and compliant home.
Thereafter, you will will ensure the smooth day to day running of the home and continuously look for ways to improve our services and the environment.
You will lead from the front, managing your team and creating an open communication between everyone, encouraging ideas and improvements.
You will manage all administration, scheduling, compliance, and documentation needed for the smooth running of the home. You will ensure all documentation is compliant, up to date and ready for any inspection.
Your team will want to work with you, and you will motivate them to deliver the highest standard of care and compassion to all of our residents. You will ensure the safety and safe guarding of residents at all times, identifying, assessing any risks that may impact this and mitigating them.If needed, you will support your team and residents, ensuring their mental health is in the best shape it can be providing emotional support where needed.
About You
You will be an experienced Registered Manager in the Childrens/Young Persons space with a passion for providing the best service to those in your care. To deliver all of the above, you will be passionate about care and you will work with your team and residents. You will build relationships with your team, understanding their strengths, working with them to develop these, enhancing their skills, careers and motivating them to deliver the highest standard of care.
You will understand our individual residents, and their needs, working with your team to create and implement the best care plans. You will encourage your team to use initiative and create activities including cooking, movie nights that teach life skills and create a sense of belonging.
Working Patterns
This role is 9am - 5pm. Monday to Friday with one week per month on call.

This role involves working with young people. Safeguarding of those in your care is our priority. All members of staff will be subject to vigorous reference checking and will be subject to full DBS checking before work can commence.
