We are looking for a Trainee CNC Production Operative to work in our bespoke manufacturing department. Working with wood - a great opportunity to learn and use computer technology, CAD, and modern programming software in the manufacturing of bespoke timber products.

Computer Literate.

Can follow operating procedures and quality standards (training will be given).
Diligent with own paperwork in completing vital information.
Can demonstrate a good work ethic and team spirit.
Performance Objectives

Introduction to basic operation of CNC machines
Basic set ups of CNC, the use of fixtures and jigs and the loading of programs
Tool technology, care, mounting and loading of high value tooling.
Understanding cutting principles
The use of CAM software (SolidCam) to program parts
CAD software (SolidWorks) to draw parts and features.
The creation of jigs, fixtures and holding devices
Experience of various CNC machines
