Maintenance Manager
Monday to Friday
Up to £60,000 DOE

The Role:
To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a food manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of equipment maintenance, compliance, and safety within the production environment.
Leading a Safety-First Engineering team, ensuring all company Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures are adhered to.
What will you be doing?
* Develop, implement and maintain the sites Preventive Maintenance Programme including reliability improvement activities to drive downtime.
* Implement an audit system for inspecting the quality of PM’s performed.
* Implement a robust audit system for voids and roof areas, ensuring these areas inspected and well maintained.
* Correctives are entered onto the CMMS system, and actioned in a timely manner, High Risk issues are dealt with immediately.
* Health and Safety actions are closed out in a timely manner, high risk issues shall be dealt with immediately.
* Facilities audits are carried out and correctives carried out accordingly.
* Work in collaboration with Production, Hygiene and Planning to deliver effective maintenance execution that improves machine reliability resulting in the required volume capability, identifies issues and works with team to implement control measures.
What will you bring to the party?
* As a minimum a time served Engineer or Minimum HND in a relevant Mechanical/Electrical discipline
* Preferably a degree in a relevant engineering discipline
* Awareness of modern maintenance techniques, RCM, condition monitoring etc
* Good knowledge of PLC controls systems to include programming, maintenance and fault finding.
