We are currently seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Fishponds. This role is not for the faint-hearted; our students have faced neglect and trauma and may struggle to regulate their emotions, sometimes resulting in challenging behaviors. However, building trust with them provides the opportunity to change lives, making this one of the most rewarding jobs imaginable.

Location: Fishponds
Accessibility: Easily reachable by public transport from UWE campus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Start Date: Immediate or in September
Contract: Permanent contracts offered after an initial trial period

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
