OT Security Engineer ( Primarily Remote )

An OT Security Engineer will play a critical role in enhance the IT and OT security level and building the Zero Trust security environment. This role is the subject matter expert of the enterprise level information security.

It is a primarily remote role but occasionally commuting Birmingham site is expected

Description

Safeguard operational technology and Information Technology systems from potential threats
Make improvement and enhancement recommendations
Perform vulnerabilities management activities
Monitor systems for suspicious activity and respond to security breaches
Implement security measures and protocols
Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards
Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external SOC and security services providers to ensure overall system security
Participate in security audits and implement recommended changesProfile

Essential:

Experience in enterprise level security products and systems such as proxies, email security gateways, firewalls, vulnerability testing, IAM, EDR

Excellent understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and systems like networking, Windows server, AD, VM, Office O365Desirable:

Experience in OT ( Operational Technologies ) Security
Security certifications holder like CISSP, GICSP
Familiar with IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001
**Candidates with solid cyber security engineering experience however without Operational Technologies exposure are welcome to apply
