Service Charge Team Leader needed - Birmingham / Hybrid Role
We are a leading Housing Association committed to building quality, affordable homes, and sustainable communities. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Charge Team Leader to join our dynamic team.
Job Description: The Service Charge Team Leader will be responsible for managing the service charge team and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of service charges to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Service Charge team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
Ensure accurate calculation and allocation of service charges in accordance with lease agreements and legislation.
Prepare annual service charge budgets and end of year reconciliations.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve service charge queries.
Implement and maintain robust systems and processes to improve service charge management.Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in a similar role within a Housing Association.
Strong understanding of service charge legislation and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
