Quantity Surveyor - Birmingham
We have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a variety of fascinating heritage and conservation projects.
As Quantity Surveyor you will ideally be located in West Midlands areas and willing to travel to sites across the UK.
Responsibilities As Quantity Surveyor:
* Supporting the Commercial leads in the business.
* Overseeing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Leading negotiations for pricing and terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
* Client and stakeholder Relationship Management.
* Building long term relationships with clients, understanding their needs.
* Financial management.
* Risk and Health and Safety Management.
Requirements As Quantity Surveyor:
* BSc in Quantity Surveying
* Proven experience in a commercial or surveying role within Construction.
* Tender awareness.
* At least 5 years in Quantity Surveying.
* RICS Membership
* Analytical mindset with a focus on data driven decision making.
* Strong contract management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
