Print Finisher - £12ph
Location: Tamworth
My client is looking for a Print Finisher Specialising in MBO Folding to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ever-expanding and forward-thinking company. Candidates are expected to have experience or general rounded knowledge of print finishing operations, including lamination, die cutting, folding, and guillotine.
Role Responsibilities and Duties:
Operating a range of machinery, ensuring high quality is kept at all times.
Maintenance of a variety of machines.
General Print Finishing duties, laminating, folding, using a guillotine and more.Expected Skills and Experience:
Guillotine knowledge.
Folding experience from PUR sections to door drop leaflets.
Working with cross section plate and knife units, with perf and crease rollers.
Primarily MBO folding with continuous feeders.
Reading job tickets to determine set up specifications and instructions.
Observing and monitoring machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
Willing to learn more machinery, including stitching, laminating and die-cutting.
Being able to help other departments with hand-work or other machinery.
Performing all assigned work accurately and on schedule.
Performing daily/weekly/monthly maintenance tasks.
Coordinating efforts as part of the team as needed to maximize production efficiencies.
