Holt Engineering Recruitment are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our nationwide manufacturing client in Southend.
The main duties of the Machine Operator will be:
Operate power presses and set press tools
Comply with relevant health, safety, environmental & COSHH requirements.
Work to relevant processes and procedures
Complete first offs and quality paperwork
Carry out activities in line with company procedures and process standard work
Identify improvements
Ensure efficient running of presses
Participate in improvement teams and initiatives The successful Machine Operator will:
Have experience in single action & progression tooling and setting
Be familiar with standard QC processes for Pressed Parts
Have past experience working in a manufacturing environment
Be fully committed to achieving the team's objectives and targets
Be proactive towards improvement ideas/programs
Be self motivate and able to work using their own initiative
Have a flexible approach & be willing to support in all areas of the press unit.Must have experience with Press Setting to be considered
