Job Title: Finance Manager
Type: Permanent
Location: Redditch
Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 depending on experience
Hours: Full Time Monday – Friday ( 35hours per week)

Management and development of the Accounting Team to effectively deliver internal reporting, group reporting and strong financial controls. Engage in continuous improvement to recommend and implement changes that improve the Company’s financial performance and financial controls.
The Role
* Manage the performance of the Accounting team to deliver departmental objectives
* Produce monthly internal and Group reports, including commentary and variance analysis
* Maintain and develop the financial control framework, including accountabilities and authorities to ensure robust financial control
* Point of contact for internal and external auditors
* Management of Accounts Payable and Banking functions, including foreign exchange purchasing and exposure
* Develop and enhance the reporting of financial and operational performance including cost control
* Preparation of VAT returns and Intrastat reports
* Coach and develop the Accounting team
Experience Required
* Qualified - ACA, ACCA or CIMA
* Strong VAT Knowledge
* Strong Advantage if you have experience in EU acquisitions
* Imports and the correct VAT treatment, foreign currency transactions
* High attention to detail
* Experience of delivering process improvements
* Ability to work under pressure
* Advanced excel skills
* Ability to build good relationships (internal/externally
