Baird and Co Recruitment, a specialist Social Housing recruitment firm, are currently seeking a Supported Housing Leader to be based in West Bromwich.
This will be a permanent post paying up to £38,000 per annum.
Starting ASAP, working a flexible 37.5 hours per week, this would be a varied Supported Housing Team Leader role with a focus on the operational running of national services.
Previous experience in running or leading services will be required.
The Supported Housing Team Leader will be expected to:
* To ensure effective and efficient service delivery and development in line with contract requirements to ensure the provision for a range of support, advice and guidance services
* Deliver strong partnership working to develop a multi-disciplinary/multi-agency service to support and enhance skills and employment prospects
* Manage a team of Housing Officers across a national geography
* Effectively support Heads of Service to lead teams, ensuring that performance indicators are delivered, and teams work towards continuous improvement
* Responsible for staff management and development including recruitment, supervisions, training, absence, and performance/disciplinary management
* Management of customer insight and experiences including satisfaction, compliments and complaints, focus groups
* Identify and implement best practice and innovative solutions for continual improvement
* Ensure that Safeguarding and Health and Safety Policies and procedures are adhered to and report serious concerns to Senior Management
* To respond to unforeseen and crisis situations as required and be available for emergency cover within your own project and contribute to the overall running of the project
* To participate in team meetings, supervisions and other review meetings and demonstrate a commitment to your learning and professional development.
The below is essential:
* Previous experience in a Supported Housing Team Leader, Manager or similar role
* Previous experience managing staff
* Working knowledge of homelessness or similar services
