An Experienced Residential Support Worker is needed in Port Talbot!
Do you have you have at least a year experience working in an Adult Residential Home?
Do you have PMVA Restraint training experience?
Have you got experience with Challenging Behaviour and Learning difficulties?
Salary: £13.83- £15.83 per hour
Locations: Port Talbot SA13
A 12 Residential Home in the centre of Port Talbot
Needs an experienced Support Worker to join their team! The home cares for adults aged between 16-50 and prides itself in its detailed therapeutic practices that are tailored to each residents needs. PMVA restraint training is required however incident levels are extremely low, training can be provided on sight should you love the home and adopt a permanent position. There is little personal care required, moreover duties would include engaging on a interactive level with residents. Ensuring they are happy, safe, and learning new skills to best prepare them for later life.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for Adults with Learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Qualifications such as PMVA restraint training, Autism Awareness, and NVQ Health and Social Care Level 2 are desirable.
To be considered for this role YOU will need:
A years’ experience as a Residential Support Worker.
