We have a fantastic opportunity available for an Assistant Buyer / Assistant Procurement Officer to work on the Hinkley Point C nuclear power project in Bridgwater. This would be perfect for someone with a Procurement background who interested in working on this incredible and unique project.

Job Purpose:

To take responsibility for procurement and supplies payment.

What You'll Do:

To process orders into the financial system and suppliers.

To prepare the tracking sheets for Hire, Labour, Steel and Concrete.

To ensure all invoices are processes for payment by clearing the log account and to assist suppliers in their queries.

To make sure that the procurement procedures have been implemented by the production team.

To deal with expense claim forms.

To liaise on a daily basis with operational staff, finance teams and suppliers.

Previous procurement experience – we are happy to consider people from a Procurement Admin background looking to develop their career or someone from a builders merchant or contractor background.
