Are you organised, detail-oriented, and ready to support key business functions? We're seeking a proactive individual to assist one of our clients with commercial administration activities and procurement. The client is an exciting SME with a great culture that places importance on its employees’ wellbeing and flexibility. This is a new role supporting the commercial team with suppliers, sub-contractors and procurement. You will be an organised individual who can prioritise tasks, take initiative and review documentation whilst taking on any additional responsibilities required.
The role involves:
* Managing the procurement process and assisting bid preparations throughout, including orders, delivery and invoices.
* Assisting in identifying potential suppliers and engaging in request for information.
* Preparing documentation packs for request for information/proposal/quotation under the guidance of Procurement Managers.
* Compiling and evaluating responses and assisting in preparing internal evaluation reports.
* Supporting the organisation with training courses and commercial activities.
* Handle the creation, distribution, and filing of NDA's for both customer and supply chain interactions.
* Aid in the preparation of contract closure documentation.
* Assisting with negotiation of terms and conditions.
* General administrative assistance for the teams as requested.
* Representing the company in meetings with third parties.
Skills required:
* Degree educated or 1-2 years experience in a similar role
* Hold a UK driving licence
* Organised, task-orientated with excellent communication skills
* Ability to use initiative and meet project deadlines
