Mechanical Design Engineer
* Up to £38,480 Basic Salary

Our client is a reputable engineering firm specialising in the manufacturing of forming tools, due to an increased order book we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Design and develop drawings using Siemens NX
* Working closely with customers to refine design/solutions.
* End-to-end project management of individual engineered solutions
* Involvement in procurement of parts, materials and subcontract processes related to
* projects
* Recording of work information/data to help monitor costing and efficiency.
* Ensure traceability is always maintained on the appropriate Tools, Materials & Paperwork.
About you
* Engineering Qualifications to support experience
* HND/C or degree in Mechanical Engineering
* General engineering experience (i.e Turning, Milling and grinding)
* Knowledge of 3D CAD systems is essential
* Excellent customer service skills & conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
* Good telephone manner
