Join our Regional Civils team as a Document Controller on our Devonport Dockyard project where you’ll deliver complex work that really matters to our business, and the world around you

The role will support the project managers to provide accurate document information throughout project delivery. This role will suit a person with previous experience of document control in a technical environment, including use of proprietary document control software

What you'll be doing

As a Document Controller you will:

Be proficient in document management systems including Business Collaborator, Autodesk, Vault and Autodesk BIM 360
Assist with on time delivery of submissions and document transmissions
Ensure that submissions are quality checked and conform to the format specified in the contract
Assist in the production of documents by typing or compiling as is necessary
Provide a customer focused approach to document management with a “user friendly” approach to our client, Babcock / DRDL
Take the lead where necessary to expedite on time delivery of documentation
Assist with administrative and project co-ordination issues
Operate within a secure environment, with some documents having a higher security classification than others.

Who we're looking for

You will have the following qualities and experience:

Document Management in a technical project environment
Good understanding of document management systems; including but not limited to Business Collaborator and Autodesk Vault
Working as part of a team and collaboratively with client and other stakeholder document controllers
Have the ability to produce and operate databases
Producing and compiling documents, such as weekly reports, O&M manuals, Presentations TQs, RFIs & WPPs
Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels, and focus on the customers’ requirements.
