I am on the hunt for a “Project Manager” to join one of my clients in their Bristol Office. Our client is established in the region delivering a mixed portfolio of projects to meet the needs of their clients. With offices across the UK, they pride themselves on an open office culture where hard work is rewarded and individual development is seen as key to the success of the team.
Working with long standing clients, you will be exposed to a depth and breadth of projects across all sectors, including commercial, retail, public sector/government departments, education, health and residential.  They offer excellent experience and first class training/mentoring support to help you achieve professional status in which we have a very high success rate. 
  
The Opportunity

The successful “Project Manager” will join a busy existing team with key responsibilities including:
Identifying and developing client briefs
Leading and managing project teams
Identifying and managing project risks
Establishing communication and management protocol
Arrange Feasibility studies including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc.
Conducting tender evaluation and contractor selection
Establishing time, cost, quality and function control benchmarks
Controlling, monitoring and reporting on project progress – Conduct pre-start and handover meetings
Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project inspection, scheduling and acceptance of works required under the defects liability and maintenance provisions of the contract
Administering the contract making. The Ideal Candidate
They are looking for candidates with recent Construction Consultancy experience, as well as:  
Educated to degree level or equivalent, with membership status of a relevant professional body such as RICS, CIOB etc. (preferable)
Stable work history
Good technical writing skills and knowledge of reading drawings and tender documents, etc
Good client-facing and communication skills, ability to build long-term relationships
A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible What’s in it for you?
