Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a construction company who are looking for an Interim HSE Manager to join their site in Bristol.
This is a fixed term contract position lasting around c18months
We are looking for a dynamic HSE Manager who is comfortable getting stuck in to the role, has a CI mindset and can spot problems and come up with initiatives to solve them.
Reporting into the Contracts Manager, the HSE Managers responsibilities will include:
Ensure the construction sites deliver the appropriate standard and that the working conditions of the company are safe
Adhere to Health and Safety at the heart of the business culture & that organisational and individual attitudes and behaviours lead to zero harm
Make sure that the business operates in adherence with all legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
Keep up to date with changes in current legislation
Work collaboratively with other functional heads
We are looking to speak with HSE professionals with following skills
Previous Construction, Housebuilding or similar background
Excellent academic background, with a degree or equivalent
NEBOSH Diploma
Chartered Member of IOSH - ideally
