Simple Recruitment are looking for an experienced Electrical and Process Control Technician for a permanent opportunity with our client in Bathford.
The Job:
As Electrical and Process Control Technician, you will support the effective inspection, testing, repair and maintenance of equipment across the production site. This will include carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out effective and timely fault-finding and investigation techniques.
* Ensure machinery use can be maximised, whilst minimising manufacturing losses.
* Undertaking hardware and software updates, diagnostics and maintenance.
* Cary out installation updates to electrical and process control equipment.
* Ensuring records are maintained and updated.
* Further duties as required.

About You:
You will have previous experience in a similar role, holding a BTEC (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electronics. You will have a strong understanding of fault finding and diagnostics on process control equipment, and will have previous experience in a continuous production environment. You will have excellent communication skills, and professional approach, and will be able to work well as part of a team.
The Salary:
£42,000 to £45,000 per annum (dependant on experience, including an annual call out fee).
The Hours:
8.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Thursday.
8.00am to 3.00pm, Fridays.
(1 weekend in 4 on call).
