Quarry Operative - Primary Processing
We have a new vacancy for a Quarry Operative to join our Primary Processing team at Torr Works Hardrock Quarry, Shepton Mallet.
As a Quarry Operative reporting to the Site Manager, you’ll join our operational team to help run the quarry and process plant safely and efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work with both fixed and mobile plants to safely move and process materials. As a Quarry Operative within the Primary Processing Team you will have the opportunity to operate some of the biggest mobile plant and fixed plant in the area. The operation utilises CAT 992 loading shovels to feed stone into the walking O&K crusher. At 6 stories and 1200T it is the largest mobile crusher around!

Excellent communication and team working skills.
Good organisational skills.
Previous experience within a similar industry.
Experience in operation of mobile and static plant (Loading Shovel, Rigid Dump Truck).
