Senior / Principal Structural Engineer
Swindon
£45-£50k plus benefits
Our client specialises in the self-build housing sector, working with leading manufacturers in modern methods of construction (ICF and SIPS). They are a growing business in growing market seeking a senior or principal level structural engineer looking for the next step in their career where they can help build a team.
The role:
Hybrid working an option - min 3 days
Comfortable with presenting and attending seminars and shows
Will have the opportunity to establish and grow the office and team
Ability to be client facing, comfortable and confident talking to people at all levels
About you:
At least 5 years' post graduate experience, ideally in modern methods of construction (although not essential as training is on offer)
Experienced with Tedds
Happy working completely independently initially with the support of the our client's main office
Working weekends may sometimes be required to cover seminars and shows but you will be paid overtime for this
Good communication skills as you will be working closely with architects and Clients
Timber frame experience required, ICF and SIPS experience a big advantage
