Our client based in Lacock, near Chippenham, are looking to expand their engineering team with the addition of 4 Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers. Reporting to the engineering manager, your role will be key in supporting the manufacturing operation of the business. The company are an integrated free range and organic egg business organised across three divisions comprising farming and agriculture, egg packing and cooked egg processing. Established in 1926 and under new ownership since 2016, we have grown into one the largest free-range and organic egg producers within the UK.

Moving millions of mother nature's most fragile food items every day takes finesse and know how. They work closely with our producers to collect, grade and package each individual egg. So many fresh eggs requires fresh thinking therefore they only employ the most enthusiastic people for our operations, who have hearts of gold - just like our eggs!

They deliver daily from hen houses right across the country to the most exclusive restaurants and to many of the UK's leading supermarkets, together with first class egg products to some of the biggest names in food manufacturing.

This role is operating on a shift pattern, which is as follows:

Salary: £42,000.00 - £47,000.00 Per annum. This is dependent on your skillset and experience that would be discussed in depth during the interview phase.

Roles & Responsibilities
*Responsible for carrying out effective planned and repair maintenance on equipment to ensure that all planned/regulatory requirements are met and to support achievement of Key Performance Indicators.
*Ensure compliance with H&S policies and take a pro-active role in the continuing improvements in Engineering safety standards.
*Ability to carry out complex fault finding and robust countermeasure implementation
*Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement ideas to improve operational performance & sustainability.
*Ensure a high level of efficiency through excellent communications with all Engineering teams & Departments
*Ensure all food safety standards are met within the Engineering operations.

Qualifications / Experience
*Recognised Maintenance Engineering experience & Qualification
*Good understanding of Health & Safety Regulations
*Recognised experience in Mechanical & Electrical Fault finding
*A working knowledge of PLC systems
*Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
*Basic Health & Safety qualifications and/or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
*Previous food manufacturing experience
