Description
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues affecting production processes.
Perform timely repairs and adjustments to equipment to minimise downtime and maintain production schedules.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
Reactive maintenance
Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and address root causes of equipment malfunctions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and equipment status.
Comply with all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.Profile
Proven experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of automated production equipment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
NVQ L3/HNC within the relevant engineering field
Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems.
Solid understanding of electrical systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and motor controls.
Familiarity with automation systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
Availability to work flexible hours and respond to equipment emergencies as needed.Job Offer
