Job Summary:
As our client continues to expand, we are seeking skilled machinists to join their team. The CNC Miller position involves setting up and operating CNC Milling machines, programming components to drawing specifications, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. We prioritise applicants with a time-served background in CNC Milling, along with proficiency in setting and programming/editing.
Responsibilities:
* Program, set up, and operate CNC Milling machines within our machine shop.
* Utilise knowledge of tool selection, speeds & feeds, and work holding to optimize machining processes.
* Produce fixturing for secondary operations as needed.
* Experience with HAAS CNC Milling machines is preferred.
* Familiarity with OneCNC CAD/CAM software is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
Requirements:
* Time-served background in CNC Milling.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Schedule:
* Monday to Thursday: 07:00 am to 16:00 pm
* Friday: 07:00 am to 11:00 am
Salary Range:
£27,000 pa to £34,000 pa + Bonus package
