This privately owned and award-winning Environmental Consultancy are looking to recruit an SHEQ Manager to join their team. They are involved in a diverse range of projects within construction offering environmental services as both a consultant and contractor.
As SHEQ Manager you will advise the Directors, Managers and Engineers on all safety, health, and environmental matters to ensure the company complies with its statutory obligations within the construction sector.
Applicants will require health and safety knowledge ideally within the construction or associated sectors, as well as practical operational experience with the ability to liaise with the client, project, and site teams.
You ideally should be able to demonstrate over 5 years relevant health, safety and environmental management experience as well as holding NEBOSH and other relevant qualifications.
You will require a proactive approach to foster a positive Health & Safety culture, working closely with internal departments and site. The role also requires a good level of written and oral communication skills as well as professional approach and strong ethics.

Duties include.
* Measure health, safety and environmental performance on site Organise for health, safety, and environmental control by preparing Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
* Provide active visible leadership for all health, safety and environmental matters.
* Ensure the specific requirements of the ISO 14001, ISO9001 and ISO45001 standards are implemented and measured by auditing.
* Promote health, safety, environmental and wellbeing campaigns.
* Foster a good safety culture by ensuring worker engagement in all aspects of health, safety and environmental management.
* Prepare evidence for provision to third party awarding bodies to achieve or maintain accreditations such as CHAS, SMAS, etc
