Overall objectives

Responsible for analysing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and quality. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct data analysis, and implement Lean or Six Sigma methodologies to optimise workflows. Strong problem-solving skills, project management, and communication are essential for success in this role.

Certifications

* Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

Core Skills/Knowledge/Competencies

* Proven experience in continuous improvement within a plastic manufacturing environment.

* Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

* Proficient in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.

* Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

* Effective communication skills to convey complex concepts and drive change.

* Detail-oriented with a focus on results and continuous learning.

Key Tasks

* Analyse manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, assess current practices, and develop improvement strategies.

* Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimise production workflows and reduce waste.

* Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.

* Lead and support continuous improvement projects to enhance overall operational performance.

* Utilise statistical methods to analyse data and provide actionable insights.

* Develop and deliver training programs to ensure the effective implementation of process improvements.

* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented initiatives.

* Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in plastic manufacturing technologies.

* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence within the organisation.
