Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough pre and post-operative consultations, assessing patient suitability for treatment with precision and care
* Execute detailed examinations pertinent to refractive, cataract, glaucoma, and retinal surgeries, maintaining the highest standards of clinical proficiency
* Manage acute and follow-up clinics post-surgery, ensuring optimal patient recovery and satisfaction
* Provide invaluable health guidance and support to patients, demonstrating empathy and expertise
* Deliver expert first-line clinical advice and facilitate appropriate referrals when necessary, exhibiting sound judgment and professionalism
Requirements:
* Current GOC registration as a fully qualified optometrist, demonstrating ongoing commitment to professional excellence
* Extensive experience in refractive, high street, or hospital environments, showcasing a proven track record of success and dedication
* Proficiency in utilising patient administration systems and electronic medical record platforms to streamline operations and enhance patient care
* Demonstrated proficiency in achieving conversion targets and KPIs within the realm of Vision Correction, exhibiting a results-oriented approach to healthcare delivery
