Senior Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Senior/Principal Scientist to join an antibody discovery and development company near Reading.

This role is open to applicants at Senior or Principal level.

The Role:

This position will be suited to driven candidate with a strong work ethic and the ability to motivate a team. A candidate with cell and molecular biology skills would be desired with an extensive background within In-Vitro Pharmacology - preferably with significant antibody discovery experience.

Responsibilities:

Implement pharmacological and immunological assays in order to characterise antibody candidates.
Motivate and lead project and laboratory teams.
Present findings to internal stakeholders and external collaborators.
Lead antibody discover efforts through antibody generation and target identification strategies. 

Qualifications and experience:

Ph.D in Pharmacology, Immunology or Molecular Biology with at least 10 years of industry experience in In-Vitro Pharmacology in drug discovery - ideally with significant antibody experience.
Experience with scientific leadership and expertise within pre-clinical drug discovery.
Strong background in Immunology, cell biology and molecular biology techniques.
Sound knowledge and history of using data analysis software and statistical methods.
Excellent knowledge and extensive history of in vitro assay disciplines.
