BMS Controls Engineer - The Role:
⦁ Carry out commissioning of BMS systems
⦁ Load and commission system and network-level controllers
⦁ Develop software programs, front-end graphics, and troubleshoot to ensure proper operations of the building control system
⦁ Coordinate and create necessary drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and installation
⦁ Produce detailed reports including commissioning reports, test results and as fitted drawings
⦁ Integrate 3rd party systems into the BMS using Modbus, Mbus or BACnet enabled devices
⦁ Work closely with the project manager
BMS Controls Engineer - The Person:
⦁ 2+ years of experience in BMS Control systems / BMS Engineering
⦁ HNC/HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field
⦁ Previous experience in creating/updating BMS software and graphics
⦁ Good working knowledge of BMS Industry standard protocols, BACnet, Modbus
⦁ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
⦁ Industry standard H&S certification
⦁ Good computer literacy (MS Office; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
⦁ Full clean UK Driving License
⦁ Knowledge of Trend, Siemens, RDM or Tridium
Located in Reading, this role would be commutable from Newbury, Maidenhead, Windsor, Basingstoke and Didcot.
