Your day to day will be busy and your role will have various responsibilities but you will be responsible for supporting the students who struggle to cope with their course work for various reasons.
Some of these students struggle with school avoidance, some struggle with additional learning needs.

You should have some experience working with children but above all, nothing beats an enthusiastic and positive personality.
You should be compassionate and friendly. You should be able to take initiative well and problem solve.
Many of the children will have personalised educational plans and you will need to change your approach to meet their needs.
You should have an understanding of the importance of safeguarding.
You should hold an Enhanced DBS Check.Key information:
