We are currently partnering with an expanding accountancy organisation in Oxford, recruiting for an Audit Senior to join their team.

This is a full time, permanent position, with flexible and hybrid working options available.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead diverse and complex audit assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with managers and partners as needed
Prepare audit files, plan audits, and lead/assist with fieldwork
Allocate work and supervise junior team members, providing support, training, and reviewing their work
Ensure audits are completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget
Review work completed by junior staff
Use accounting software to provide accurate reports for managers, directors, and clients
Prepare statutory accounts and finalize them under the supervision of your line manager
Prepare corporation tax computations
Maintain current technical knowledge of industry and economic issues
Assist with service and product pricing, including new client quotes
Build productive relationships within Shaw Gibbs and with clients
Develop and apply technical knowledge through on-the-job trainingExperience/Skills Needed:

ACCA/ACA qualified or almost qualified
Minimum of 3 years’ UK Audit practice experience, some accounts experience is also a must
Preference for a University degree with at least a 2:1 or minimum 3 A-Levels (A, B, B or above)
Xero, Sage, Caseware and CCH experience would be an advantage
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong IT skills, specifically Excel
