Job Title: Quantity Surveyor- Commercial & Industrial New Build
Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire
Salary: Negotiable DOE
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for commercial and industrial new build projects.
* Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis.
* Manage contracts, subcontracts, and procurement processes.
* Monitor and control project costs to ensure they stay within budget.
* Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Provide advice on cost-saving strategies and risk management.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying for commercial and industrial new build projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
* Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
