A leading company in the civil engineering and construction industry is seeking an experienced Hydrostatic Pressure Test Technician to join their dynamic team. This field-based role involves performing hydrostatic pressure tests on customer or third-party assets, ensuring safety and precision using maintained equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate testing equipment, including flanges, joint sets/gaskets, manifolds, pumps, and data loggers.
Conduct hydrostatic pressure test procedures on ductile iron and polyethylene pipework according to specified standards and customer requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues affecting pressure test success on-site.
Maintain test equipment following established service procedures to ensure quality and accuracy.
Utilize dedicated software/portal to input key hazard and risk mitigation measures, creating informed RAMS documents for each assignment.
Communicate effectively with site agents, managers, and stakeholders to manage expectations and provide clear feedback on test outcomes.Required Skills and Experience:

Valid driving license.
Proven experience in performing hydrostatic pressure tests in live industrial/construction site environments.
Proficiency in using high-precision measuring equipment such as data loggers and flow meters.
Strong knowledge of site safety procedures, safe systems of work, hazard identification, and incident prevention.
Experience in compiling RAMS documentation related to hydrostatic pressure testing.
Excellent communication skills for providing feedback to relevant stakeholders.Desirable Qualifications (training can be provided within 6 months):

CSCS Card
IOSH Managing Safely
