Situated in Milton Keynes, our partner school is committed to providing an enriching and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are seeking a talented Year 6 Teacher who is passionate about education and dedicated to making a positive impact on young minds. As a pivotal member of the teaching team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that promote both academic achievement and personal development. With a focus on preparing students for their transition to secondary school, you will foster a culture of curiosity, resilience, and independence within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 6 students, ensuring progression and attainment in line with national curriculum standards.
Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
Provide targeted support and intervention for pupils who require additional assistance, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to promote the holistic development of every child.
Prepare students for the end-of-year assessments, including SATs, by implementing effective revision strategies and exam techniques.
Foster a love of learning by incorporating a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology into your lessons.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6.
A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks, including SATs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Strong behaviour management skills and a proactive approach to creating a positive learning environment.
