Do you want to build a sustainability strategy from the ground up, with the freedom and autonomy to develop and evolve your plan across a business, eventually on an international scale?

We're looking for someone passionate about sustainability who can join an international food manufacturer in a newly created role and build out the ESG function.
You'll do this with a business who values its people above everything else, where a diverse culture of support, learning, development and friendliness is the set standard.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team & Head of Compliance, you'll create and implement a medium to long term strategy focused on promoting sustainability, green ways of working and reducing the environmental footprint of the UK business.

You will lead and run projects, implement processes and policies, and apply your technical knowledge and skills to all areas of the function.
There's no glass ceiling in this role either. This is an opportunity to build out the role in collaboration with the SLT and has the potential to continue its growth across to the international business in the long term.
